In the third webinar of the GDi Telecom series we introduced you to automated field service scheduling. This optimization tool utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to help organizations select the most appropriate employee for any task based on their specific skills, location, availability, and other important factors.

As more organizations shift to a customer-oriented business model, the process of scheduling field workforce activities becomes more complex. Manual processes of scheduling are no longer efficient and are unable to keep pace with an organization’s other work processes. Failure to adopt and employ the latest methods and tools will adversely impact productivity, and costs will increase.

The GDi scheduling feature automatically creates optimized schedules, together with all required information about the work activities. Hence, the monotonous and lengthy activity of scheduling tasks is avoided. The feature is quickly able to create the most cost-effective schedule, considering all parameters for available resources.
