GDi is implementing the project “Commercialization of innovative Ensemble for Energy Operations, Resources and Assets solutions for inventory and management of energy plants on the global market” with the aim of commercializing an innovative software solution in S3 area, energy and sustainable environment.
The grant was awarded on the basis of a call for proposals “Innovation in S3 areas”. Title of investment priority is “Supporting the capacity of SMEs to growth in regional, national and international markets, and to engage in innovation processes”.
The goal of the project is the global commercialization of a new innovative solution in the field of “Energy and Sustainable Environment” through an innovative delivery process. In order to ensure successful commercialization of the innovative solution and reach TRL 9 (competitive production), which is a key development strategy of the company, it is necessary to innovate the delivery process in key parts of the system implementation, to make the delivery process much faster, cheaper and painless for the users and GDi.
Ensemble for Energy Operations, Resources and Assets is a comprehensive software solution for large systems, and in such systems the solution delivery process is crucial, on which the user’s decision to purchase often depends. The delivery process consists of several processes, the most demanding being the system implementation process. The product has two demanding components in the implementation process: integration with business systems of users and loading of spatial data. Therefore, with this project we must innovate the delivery process in the system implementation segment as follows:
- Innovation of the delivery process by applying a completely new method of software delivery using new technologies and software for integration with business ERP systems.
- Innovation of the delivery process by applying a new method of implementation in the segment of preparation, import and integration of CAD / GIS / LiDAR / BIM spatial data formats.
The implementation of the project would achieve:
- Innovated delivery process in the segment of solution implementation by automating the integration of the Ensemble with ERP business systems, which enables faster delivery and implementation with maximum cost efficiency.
- Innovative delivery process using a completely new method of importing spatial data from CAD / GIS / LIDAR / BIM spatial data format that enables scalable growth of users due to process automation.
Project activities are focused on the innovation of the delivery process in order to commercialize the new innovative product, which is new and unique on the market, with application in the S3 area of energy and sustainable environment. These process innovations represent completely new methods of delivery (and implementation). They are brand new to the company. The innovation of these processes is a key and necessary factor for the successful commercialization of Ensemble for Energy Operations, Resources and Assets. Such processes will make the product itself and the company ultimately more competitive in the market.
