GDi CEO  participates in EU funds conference

We are please to announce that Mr Boran Lončarić, founder and chairman of GDi Group, participated as a panellist at the Conference “EU funds: latest news and announcements for small and medium size enterprises”. The event, which was jointly organised by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Croatian Bank Association, was held today (Tuesday, 12th June 2018) at the offices of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.

Mr Boran Lončarić participated in the panel for the topic ‘Non refundable EU funds (2014.-2020.)’. Also included was Mr Dragan Jelić from the Ministry of regional development and EU funds, Mrs Mirjana Samardžić Novoselec from the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Mrs Goranka Crnković Trivić from Erste&Steiermärkische Bank.

GDi has much relevant experience in attracting EU funding and making co-financed projects work. We are particularly proud of our R&D projects which are being conducted with partners from the Croatian scientific community, namely the Croatian Geological Survey and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), Zagreb, with support from the Ministry of Economy and HAMAG BICRO.

Projects are focused on research that will lead to the development of the new generation of innovative software products in the GDi Ensemble portfolio. Current projects include GDi Ensemble FloodSmart and GDi Ensemble OperOSS.

In addition to the above mentioned EU co-financed projects, GDi has already successfully completed several co-financed projects. These include: internationalization of entrepreneurial businesses, competences development and employee education, Proof of concept (PoC), infrastructure investment and the like.

Always with the future in mind, GDi is actively applying for new EU projects and is looking forward to more quality projects in areas such as product research and development, strengthening expert competency , export opportunities development, business process improvement and infrastructure development.
