GDi and Vodovod Žrnovnica signed a contract regarding the digitalization of public water supply system. By 2023 the entire utility network will be modernized and digitalized with the latest GIS technology. With this project GDi confirmed its leading position in digitalization of water supply and sewerage infrastructure planning and management.
Leon Šagovac, Managing Director at GDi Croatia, today (12.05.2021) signed a contract with Veselko Mutavgjić, member of the board of the municipal utility company Vodovod Žrnovnica. With this, GDi became part of the project „Waste-water Drainage System of the Agglomeration Area of Novi Vinodolski, Crikvenica and Selce“.
Vodovod Žrnovnica public water supply system includes the construction of 2.75 km and reconstruction of 13.1 km public water supply network. In one of the biggest projects for water utility systems in Croatia, GDi will work on the implementation of geographic information system for the utility network.
The solution, GDi Ensemble for Water Utilities, which has already been successfully implemented in other large-scale waterworks projects, is a fully digitalized platform that consists of GIS system, asset management and work order management. With it, Vodovod Žrnovnica will increase the number of users connected to the system of public drainage as well as reduce water leakage and optimize asset utilization and maintenance.
