GDi for Education supports talented school mathematicians from 15 countries.
Each year the Mathematical Grammar School (Belgrade, Serbia) organizes an international computer science, mathematics, and physics competition for the best high school students from all over Europe. The best mathematicians from 15 countries participated, and GDi Belgrade, under the initiative ‘GDi for Education, Science and Innovation’, were delighted to have the opportunity to support the competition and provide awards to the winning students in these subjects.
Congratulations this year go to:
Laura from Romania (Informatics)
Mihail from Russia (Physics)
Strahinja from Serbia (Mathematics)
The Mathematical Grammar School (MGS) is a unique school in Serbia, specialised for students talented in mathematics, physics and computer science, aged 13-18. The school is of national importance and its students have thus far won over 150 medals in the World Olympiad.
The presentation of prizes this year took place in the National Assembly of Serbia, with the participation of the Secretary of the Ministry of Telecommunications, (representing the competition main sponsor).
For GDi, it was a real pleasure to help young future computer scientists and mathematicians from all over Europe.
