As part of the EU project “Multisensor Aerial Survey of the Republic of Croatia for Assessing Disaster Risk Reduction“, the e-registration of buildings and family houses has been enabled in Zagreb since the end of September. In this way, for the first time in the Republic of Croatia and in the world, data on earthquake risks will be collected in a modern, timely and methodical manner.
The GDi team was recently pleased to assist in providing valuable expertise and digital tools immediately following the magnitude 5.5 earthquake that occurred at 06:24 am CET on the morning of 22nd March 2020 in Zagreb.
At the end of last year, the County of Zagreb Institute for Urban Planning, in cooperation with the Regional Development Agency, held a presentation of their new Web GIS application. The application, developed, implemented and hosted by GDi, includes all relevant data for 20 entrepreneurial zones within Zagreb County. It is already becoming an invaluable tool by enabling prospective investors to make informed decisions about where to initiate or relocate their business ventures.
