GDi among partners in the Earthquake Risk in the City of Zagreb Project

As part of the EU project “Multisensor Aerial Survey of the Republic of Croatia for Assessing Disaster Risk Reduction“, the e-registration of buildings and family houses has been enabled in Zagreb since the end of September. In this way, for the first time in the Republic of Croatia and in the world, data on earthquake risks will be collected in a modern, timely and methodical manner.

Winners of this year’s competition ‘Teach with GIS’ announced

A virtual award ceremony marked the end of this year's project Teach with GIS, within which GDi has so far given high schools in Croatia 2.000 free licences for ArcGIS Online for students and teachers. The competition has brought contemporary geoinformation tools even closer to the high school students.

GDi Donated ArcGIS Licences to Police Academy

For the last quarter of century, we have successfully collaborated with Croatian Ministry of the Interior (MUP), and now we have provided its Police Academy with Esri ArcGIS licence, without compensation.

GDi helps turn invasive alien plant species into useful resource

Among many initiatives and projects GDi has been part of, we were also a partner to the APPLAUSE project, conducted by the city of Ljubljana. The project was part of a European Union initiative called Urban Innovative Action and it has helped to address previously unresolved problems regarding invasive alien plant species by implementing a zero‑waste approach within a circular economy business model.
