Business Advisory and Implementation Division of GDi is seeking an expert, committed and dynamic professional who would like to join our team and hold the position of: OSS telecommunications network inventory engineer (m/f) for client based in the United Arab Emirates.

As a part of GDi Implementation Team, OSS Telecommunications Network Inventory Engineer will work directly at the user’s location for purposes of data collection and digitalization of telecommunication transmission networks.
Job related tasks:
- Administration of IT network inventory system administration of IT network inventory system
- Modeling the base of network elements
- Creating Network Equipment Templates
- Establishment of data exchange standards
- Processing CAD and Excel data
- Input network data
- Creating various graphic and textual reports
- Exchange of digital data
- Working with tools for processing digital geographic data
- Field visits and monitoring data collection
- Education and exchange of knowledge with team members
Requirements / Preferred qualifications:
- MA degree in electrical engineering, computer science, telecommunications/radio communications systems or other related field
- Ability to work abroad in a multilingual and multicultural international environment
- Preferably technical graduate degree or suitable working experience
- Up to 3 years of work experience in telecommunications, energy and / or IT
- Preferably previous expat experience (work or education abroad)
- Knowledge of telecommunication and energy networks
- Experience in database modeling
- Experience in data processing, CAD or GIS
- Thoroughness and orderliness in work tasks
- Professionalism and high work ethics
- Independence and readiness for fast development of skills and new knowledge
- Operational knowledge of English in speech and writing
