On February 4th 2021 at 15.00 hrs CET, our online webinar covered the topic of ‘how to efficiently plan & design 5G networks‘.

We described some of the challenges, and how traditional methods of planning, design and construction fall short of what is needed, with multiple teams working separately using different tools, and employing inefficient processes.

In order to be successful, construction, network, and IT support teams need to be connected and work together with the most modern integrated tools. As an example of this in action, we included a live demo of the GDi Network Planning Tool, where we showed how a planning engineer can easily create a connection between a 5G Antenna and the existing FTTH network. In conclusion, we discussed current challenges faced by the telecoms industry and how GDi can be your partner going forward.
